LOCATION

Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Berwick House is the crown jewel of Berwick Estate, which encompasses the northern side of Shrewsbury Town. We’re just over a mile north of the town centre and about 10 minutes from the A5, which becomes the M54.

Berwick is easily accessible by car or cab from the Shrewsbury train station.

The Angell-James family are proud Salopians and encourage all visitors to enjoy everything Shrewsbury has to offer! Image courtesy of Original Shrewsbury.

How to Get here

We’re at Berwick House, Berwick Road, Shrewsbury, SY4 3HW. Please use Google Maps or Apple Maps to navigate here as car sat-navs can take you the other side of the river, and unfortunately we don’t have a drawbridge!

An alternate post code is SY4 3HJ, which will take you to the end of the driveway.

At Berwick Road you’ll see a series of white bollards, flanked by two guards houses. Drive through the iron gates and all the way to the end of the long drive. Berwick House is past the chapel - it’s hard to miss. Just follow signs to the end of the driveway and park in the Orchard Parking area.

There is a bus stop at the end of the driveway which can take you into Shrewsbury Town with times here.

Shrewsbury Town is walkable down Berwick Road, but the cars move quickly down the road. Please walk carefully and stick to the pavement.

The town is a 20 minute jaunt. The nearest pub is Bird in the Hand (on the way into town) and the nearest convenience store is Robsons Greenfields (30 minute brisk walk).
